Firewire Karte Windows 7 64 Bit
PCI firewire card Windows 7 (64-Chip)
i take a like problem with win7 64bit with my m-audio 1814, the playback is not properly! altough i take the right driver installed, information technology seems i cannot playback, all worked fine on my one-time estimator on winxp, but unfort. i had to switch since my old pc was actually lame. Anyways, what you could do is try different variatons of driver.
1. cheque that u have the newest driver installed
ii. call the manufacturer of the soundcard, and let them know what Win u use and if they accept a suggested list of PCI cards that work
That should practice the trick

X79 PCH does in fact provide native (not-bridged) PCI support.
Most X79 motherboards offer only 1x PCI slot nonetheless (some Asrock have 2x afaik), since they equip more PCIe x16 slots to make utilise of the 40x PCIe lanes on a socket 2011 cpu. Several X79 boards do equip onboard Via PCIe FW controllers, though.
Just beware, on some current motherboards with bridged PCI slots and onboard FW controllers. the onboard FW controller is really a PCI chip bridged off PCIe just like the non-native PCI slots.
That said, a PCIe FW card with TI PCIe FW controller is really not very expensive and can avoid a lot of hassle (what my Saffire Pro 24 DSP is connected to).
A while back I had to use a so-chosen "OHCI compliant 1394 host controller (legacy)"
drivers for my Steinberg MR816X to piece of work in Win7 64bit.
Go to device managing director, firewire controller.
Cull the commuter tab, then "Update Driver"
Choose "Scan my Computer for driver software"
Choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
A listing comes upwardly listing iii entries:
OHCI compliant 1394 host controller
OHCI compliant 1394 host controller (legacy)
OHCI compliant Texas Instruments 1394 host controller
From these, select the OHCI compliant 1394 host controller (legacy) driver.
Promise it helps....
